Why does my gas water heater keep shutting off?
Possible causes include ignition, flame-sensing, safety-control, venting, combustion-air, fuel-supply, or overheating problems. Repeated resets are not a substitute for diagnosis.
Can I switch from a gas tank to gas tankless?
Possibly, but the gas line, meter capacity, venting route, condensate drainage, electrical supply, water lines, and demand all need to fit the selected unit.
Should I relight a gas water heater myself?
